Darwin

A very exciting museum about World War II and the Vietnam War. Entry costs approx. $18 

  • The beach market is held every Thursday and Sunday and is a "must see". Cosy stalls with crafts, food and music.

  • Fishing trip: Treat yourself to a deep sea fishing trip on one of the many boats from Darwin Harbour. Angle for barramundi and catfish in both fresh water and salt water, or go mud crabbing. See the selection.

Nationalparker
  • Kakadu National Park is the largest national park in Australia and one of the leading tourist attractions in the area. Here you can see ancient Aboriginal cave paintings, experience salt and freshwater crocodiles, and admire the Jim Jim Falls. Read more here.

The place is famous for their "tiger" meat pie, which is a classic meat pie topped with mashed potatoes and gravy.
